If anyone has a solution they wouldn't mind dumbing down for me, I'd really appreciate it. There was a patch recommended but it's huge and people were saying it completely destroyed their game so I refuse to risk using that. I'm not tech savvy at ALL and every possible solution I've seen has steps I don't understand or just never has a response as to whether or not it worked. In either case, when I return to the downloads dashboard in the launcher it just shows up like something that hasn't been installed. It also sometimes freezes up my launcher and I have to go and force quit the game after 10 minutes or so. It downloads from the purchase history in the store and shows up on the launcher with no trouble, but as soon as I try to install it, it runs through the green progress bar, gets to 100%, and then throws an error message telling me I need to make sure I have the latest software update and to try again. I've had no trouble installing store content and creator content in the past, but the Roaring Heights world I just bought from The Sims 3 store is refusing to install.
